Do any of you motorcycle freaks out there have an experience with the HJC CL-12 helmet? It's DOT and SNELL 2000 approved so it should be a good one. I've always been a SHOEI and ARAI person myself, but the local bike shop is pretty much giving these things away ($50!), and I thought I'd pick up a passenger helmet. Any thoughts?

hjc helmet is a great value. i had mine for my bike and it was comfortable and was never too hot even under some nasty conditions. (if you want to know about nasty conditions, trust me, i've been there.)
My truck is louder than yours. A lot louder.

i tell my dad he has to use a helmet while using the computer cuz he is always asking me to fix it. maybe he should get an hjc!
on another note, i cannot find my HJC motocross helmet anywhere. i'm beggining to think it was stolen along with my bike

ive use HJC helmetsfor my dirtbike, they do have the quality of the shoei or anything else, but the price is a difference, i payned 230 for mine, and the shoei and ariea (sp) were like 350 and up
so yea, they are good quility helmets

I was wearing my brother's last night, and that thing got hot. But I wasn't going fast enough to get any good windflow into it. One of the good reasons to get a modular, you can just pop the front and have instant ventilation.You are the Wormtongue of AO.~bofh
