Magman's Chilean Journal (or, What I did on my summer vacation that lasted all year)

Ok, well i guess i should start from the beginning. It was may 15th 1986 and my mom was in labor.....

ok, maybe not that far back. At the beginning of this year, a man from my fathers Rotary club approached me and asked me if i would like to do a foreign exchange. I leaped up at the chance. I had always wanted to go to england, and hoed i could get there. Well, i picked 10 countries i wanted to go to, and i got a list of 3 countries back i could go to. Those countries Were Poland, The Ukraine, and Chile. I picked Chile, mainly because i can sorta speak spanish, and it isnt as cold!

Well, a bunch of months pass bye, and it is now july. I went out to chicago for my factory tour, and to play with the Agd guys. Well, Jon Comprado was a nice guy and offered to drive me back to the Hotel from Country Club Paintball. Well, we got to talking and he asked if i was going to the IAO. I told him i couldnt because i was going to Chile. SO he started to tell me about Marcello, who is a premier shop and field owner in chile. His shop Paintball depot i believe is the biggest distributer in the area. I
Well, jon gives me his own cellphone number and i give him mine. He calls me up with marcellos number and tells me that he wants to talk to me. Well, i made the long distance call to Chile, and Marcello offered to have me play for his team, in his tournament at the end of september. I lept at the chance to play. ask him about my area that i am going to, and he says he has a customer in Osorno. He told me to buy a scuba fillstation, and he would do everything he could to get a SCUBA tank to the field for me to use to run my e-mag off of.


Today is august 10th, After a slew of conecting flights (philly, to chicago, to miami, to santiago, to temuco, i arrived in Osorno Chile)

Osorno is a small town 921 killometers south of santiago. It is beautiful here, and there is alot to do here. Despite what the travel guide said "A day in osorno is like a Sunday, and a sunday is like a day of national Mourning"

Well, im happy so far, because i now have a brother and a sister, something i have never had before. And i have a NANY!!! WOOT! that is prolly ne of the coolest things. this means i dont have to do laundry, make my bed, vaccum my room. Im in Heavan!

I will also tell you this, i am one of few, if not the olny person with an e-mag here in Chile. I hope to spread its wisdom to thse others whose minds are blocked because their internal 4 way is leaking and telling them to stick with cockers and impulses. I hope to change their minds, or atleast offer another alternative. I also hope that AGD can get a few more international sales outta this.


My mission is to spread the e-mag through out the world, call me a AGD whitness if you will, but i will do what ever it takes to spread it throughout chile, and hopefully the rest of south america.

all of that is very very cool, but one thing the puguet is a french made car and sucks. I take french and learn a lot abut the country and from this i know that the pugeut sucks, it's poorly made, and the engines are unreliable. silly people from chile with thier gentalia-less indians and pugeut cars. lol

Lunch is the biggest meal of the day for most Spanish speaking countries. Most business's and schools allow there workers and students to leave for so many hours and then return later. So now you have to get used to having your biggest meal of the day at lunch. Do you find the school there to be a lot different from your school back in the US besides the language difference?

Hey, have fun bro. I lived in Panama for 4 years (military) and enjoyed Central and South America. Even brought back a wife (the one some of you saw in the Friendly Corner thread I started).
If you go in the jungle, find out if the have Black Palm, it's a nasty little tree.

THE WATTER FLOWS THE OTHER WAY!!!! WOOT!!!! that is soooo cool! haha! lol. Oh, and the indians, they have genetalia, that is the scary thing!

The tourny hasnt come up yet, that is in the end of September. Ummm, all of my classmates want to play now though, so im happy about that. that is more people to add to our community!

I will ask about the black palm, And i wont touch any thing! i swear!

lol,he means the water flows the different way when u fush the toilet becuz he is in the souther hemisphere...it goes counter-clockwise where he is at..or clockwise..uhmforget,but u know...
