Here's some pics of my neighbor's 620 HP 1970 Chevelle SS454 thats almost all original (Minus Drive train/roll cage)

Unfortunately he's selling it for 27,000. It runs the 1/4 mile in less than 11 seconds on nitro-methanol race fuel. It ran a high 11/low 12 on Pump 93 octane fuel. For those of you who grew up around the 60's and 70's or those who possibly owned one of these BAD@#S's check it out..I'm sure it will draw up some good memories. Thats one bad mamajama! Personally Im more of a fan of the '71-'72 model, but Id take at '70 anyday. I love old cars. My first car was a '69 4door straight 6, LOL. And I also had a '72 Formula 400 with the ram air hood and Kregar centerline wheels and was painted primer red. Its was the coolest white trash mobile ever, I loved it! I actually want an LS1 z28 but I sux with money. Oh well

Good god. Dream car. Beautiful. I'm buying a '70 Chevelle in the very near future, but it's gonna be a heap compared to that one, and I'll be spending the next year restoring it. Also plan to put 71-72 style taillights/bumper on it, with a 454 and LS7 options. Time and money, it'll be worth it.

Sidenote: If anyone anywhere near ohio knows of a 70 chevelle for sale in moderatley decent condition for under $5000, let me know via email. Thanx.

That's pretty sweet.I had a '69 w/502BB sold it a little while ago.

Now I've got a '66 327 in the works.It's not worthy of any pictures just yet.Maybe this time next year.I personally prefer '67 and earlier though,just what I like.

GOOD NEWS!!! The guy who was interested in purchasing this car...so interested he drove to Jacksonville Florida from Orlando (3 hours) Only to try and haggle Mike (the owner) down from his 27000 to 22500, by saying the car need a new paintjob! HE DIDN'T SELL IT! Can you freaking believe it? That car is so clean you could eat a four course meal off an orrifice on the vehile and not taste a single impurity!! I can't believe the audacity of some people these days. Oh well..I still get to wake to this beast being cranked up 100 ft away and rattling the mirror on the wall of my room If I had the money..I'd buy it for 29000!! This is the only car I've ever been in, that when you crank it up..it actually hurts your ears. Not because its loud and obnoxious, but the rumble actually moves soo much air it pressurizes your ears. When you sit in the seat..all outside sounds disappear. Once I get a DAT device so I can record the vehicular sounds of this beast, I will post them up. *Warning* this vehicle has been known to cause erradic erections! (mods can edit if needed?)

I went for another ride the other day with him... nothing like losing view of the road for about 7 seconds while the car fights the rearward roll. We went from 0-120?? dunno how fast we were actually goin.. (peg'd stock speedo) in about 6 seconds God I love this car... I wish I had a good videocam with good sound so I could record a 0-120?? session. Only thing is... he won't take this down any road except the two laner by our neighborhood. I've been trying to get him to drive down SR-21 (Blanding Blvd) to see is anyone would try him They'd be insane if they did. Anyway..figured I'd share the experience... let people visualize blurry eyesight,extreme body vibration, and lots of exhiliration(sp?)
