kazaa lite question

every file i try to download, my bandwidth sucks.

i have a 1.5 mbps cable connection and it shows a .05kbps download rate all the time.

Anything i can do?

pause and then resume, that works 4 me

you wont EVER hit your max transfer. a few things could be wrong.

Your line is capped down for some reason.
The host has a slow connection (this is the most often)
Or too many users taking same file


If you get 30-40 kb/s on kazaa your lucky. Most of hte time transfers are lower.

30-40 K? That stinks.

I downloaded a music video and after letting it go for a while and pausing/resuming, it made it into the ~35kbps range. That still was mad slow.

Thanks for your help you guys, but I think I'm gonna dump kazaa anyways. Every search I did turned up some sort of porn.

right click on the song your downloading and click find more resources. i download about 100kbs on kazaa

You can block the porn, the bandwidth should be that bad, I get a 4 meg song in under a minute SOMETIMES.. I haven't ever watched bandwidth, it fluxuates so bad I just time the download. But I think that's better then 35kbps

Yea I d/l from other sites like lets say file planet and i get around 80-90 kb/s

once i dled atv around 200kbps my dad did 300 once...

Lets see... I've been downloading almost all the Yu Yu Hakusho collection on Kazaa and my max transfer was at 40 and the worst was at .01. Kazaa is just a memory and bandwidth hog. Other transfer programs work better most of the time.
