AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
No to down the 355... but here's a 454 (LS-6) makes 700+ hp..
<img src=http://personal.atl.bellsouth.net/jax/1/b/1badandy/pictures/chevelle/mike_3.jpg>
He used to have a holley 1050 on it and had to run 1/3 Nitro Meth mix fuel, he put a 750 and a filter on it..now he can drive it without getting 3 miles per gallon
Not trying to flame..but I'd like to see a pic of his 72 carlo going through the traps at 11.3(*EDIT*-Timeslip would be nice :)). The Chevelle this motor is in.. runs an 11.1 with 700 hp 454. Granted it weighs about 600 lbs more than the carlo..but he's goin 170+ mph
Here's another one of him launching at NE Dragway. The pics from last season when he was in the 12's, now he's got skinies on the front and a full roll cage. Also there's more sponser stickers on the side.
Now that I look at the pic of the motor I see the nitrous lines, he has done a lot of body lightening ditched at least 100lbs from the fenderwells, I would love to see it and my buddy's 70 chevelle duke it out. :)
700 HP on the motor and he gets about 630 to the ground, I know on a dyno he had 630 on the ground and thats all that counts It's an all original 1970 SS454 Chevelle (Rollcage of course)
