no offense but if you dont even know what the bios is, you prolly shouldnt be reformatting it by yourself. i would suggest taking it to someoe who knows how to do it. but if you want to do it yourself, just follow the instructions that are in my previous post, they have worked fine for me many times.

If you are gonna format, use the /s switch so you still have your startup files. You also might try just reloading a copy of Win98 right over your present installation. Then you wont lose all your info and good stuffComment
