the cd key is probably stored in the registry, it is on most new games (i think), but SC is pretty old so who knows.

just delete it and reinstall, even if u do find it in the registry, it will almost definitaly be encoded, so unless u can find a cd-key changer for SC (not likely) then save your time and reinstall.

cant reinstall, you see, I downloaded it off of kazaa because I cant find the cd. I have literally searched every corner of this house and I have no clue where it could be.

It came already installed, there are no install files.

ah i c, well that would explain why that cd has been blocked, youll need to d/l a version you can install yourself, so u can input your own cd key, or borrow a copy from a friend.

Yeah.. Im not about to download every version on kazaa.. I wish one of my friends had StarCraft..

Just go out and buy the game man, you can find the battle chest version (which has Starcraft, the Brood War Expansion, and the strategy guide) for like $10.

It keeps telling me the latency to the host is too high. I'm sitting on a cable modem. I'd think everything would be cool. Ideas?
