i LOVE magic but no one around me plays so i dont really have a deack i just collect cards for the moment. i have 375 + a couple hundred circulating in the mail at any one time.

when i play i usualy have a white and green deck because i love my craw giant and celestial dawn. i may have to change it soon because i got a couple Spirt links comming and im looking for a serra avatar.

did any one under stand me?

Iv been playing since unlimted came out. I had a gain life deck that could get to 1000 life in like 3 turns. I stopped playing when all the stupid sets came out like invasion and everything. Now I just have the remanider of my cards like Time Walk, Ancestral Recall, Demonic Tutuor and so on. I mostly have all the old really worth alot cards.

I used to play quite religiously for a few years. I used to be quite good too. I remember for a short while I was even in the top 200 players, but only for a week or two. I used to swear by red and black decks, and occasionally some blue thrown in to mess up my opponents decks.

1000 life.. hot damn! i agree with you on the invasion stuff.. i stopped buying the newer cards. my best deck is mostly old stuff.. demonic tutor.. black vise.. the rack.. ank of mishra..sol ring...scrublands... mox jet(i wish) btautomag what kinda cards u lookin for... i have a very large amount of cards in my room that i dont use. anyone know of a pricing guide online.. im lookin to sell and i need to know the prices.

well i dunno i like bulk deals. i do look for specific cards sometimes but not often. right now im looking for Serra Avatar and Traumatize. other then that just pm me with how many cards you have and how much you will sell them for and we can work out a price

i stopped buy/playin just before 5th ed. came out...

my fav deck though was my 5 color recycle deck.....

all dual lands (ok just green/black orignal ones with no life drain on them)
mana birds/elfs
hells caretakers(gatekeepers... tap take card from graveyard return to play)
pike knights for cards when put into play
2/2 artifact creature that gave 2 life every time it went to graveyard
orangatangs to get rid of opp. artifacts
one of the araobian knits set cards (towelhead lookin)(no offence to any just cant remember the name, and thats about what it looked like) to take out creature cards
sorccess queen to stop big hurt monsters till i take them out
and instill enery and the like to untap certian cards more then once a turn....
feldons cane, both racks and a couple other cards to control my hand size and oppent hand size during my upkeep...

lots of fun... i just may have to dig it out.. .granted it is probly not a leagel deck now as all the cards are pre 5th

maybe i'll dig out my mtg:e-piedia cd i got here somewhere and update the heck out of it... see what kind of nasty deck i can make....

rat decks still possible... hmm..... =)

1000 health? Are we even talking about the same game? I don't even think all my summons in any given deck combined had that much attack.But then again, I was playing when Tempest was the hot new series and fifth edition was cool so mayby things have changed. Do they still do sealed tournaments where they give you a sealed box and like 2 boosters and that's all you had? I probably spent a thousand dollars in my "career" playing in those. Those were awsome.

haha i played a sealed tournament like 2 years ago.. i dunno if they still do em. im signing off for the night.. keep this post going for the sake of all of those 12 year old kids who spend their allowanced on new cards!

well 1000 health is a little accessive but i have something that could possibly do it if the other persone had a gain heath deck...

the spirit links i have comming are an enchant creature. it makes the creature heal you in equal to how much damge he just did to your opponent... i.e. you just dealt your opponent 5 damage and you gained 5 life in the same move.

then if you use spirit link on a serra avatar youll have the perfect card combo EVER (in my opinion) a serra avatar has strenght and defense equal to your current life and it raises and lowers as your life does. so if you link the two together you will have a card that has attacking power equal to your life that gains you twice the amount of health every time it attacks.
