    What are your favorite PS2 games?

    Whats your favorite PS2 game. Just wondering whats good out there since I have just got the system and only have a couple games.
    My favorites right now after renting a bunch is probality "The Thing" This game is the most awsome game that I have played on this system. It's based after the 1980's movie John Carpenter's The Thing. The game's best feature is that everybody is all paranoid about not knowing who is "the thing" Any of your team mates could be "the thing" plus you get to have a squad that will help you out throughout most of the game.
    On my favorites list after "The Thing" comes GTA3 then FFX. Thoes are my top pics.
    set up: Micro e-mag with 32 degree chrome flame drop, Level 10, 88/4500 crossfire, 12 in CP, 32 degree whisper and ARADUS 14in barrel, EVO II.

      the thing sounds an awful lot like another ps2 game i have but i dont like it alot

      anyway my favorite would have to be

      armored core 2
      armored core 2 another age
      and when i get it armored core 3
      metal gear solid 2
      metal gear solid(its ps1 but still cool)
      zone of the enders(i like really big robot games if you cant tell :))
      ffx is ok but not a fav(once youve played 7 and 1 every other one doesnt seem that special)
      GTA3 is cool but gets boring after "acidentally" running over 30 cops and throwing grenades at the cars and jumping on them like your in a riot
      evergrace(no not everquest)
      summoners
      summoners 2(when it comes out)

      hmmm those are just a few i like i cant remeber them all

          My all time favorite so far is definetly Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. After that will probably be SOCOM: Navy SEALs(haven't even played it yet), and after that would probably be The Thing as well cause the movie rocked like what(haven't played it either though).

                                      yeah, dark alliance was a really fun game. i think its the best ps2 rpg out there. i like gta3 also. starwars games are fun. i didn't like summoner to well until i couldn't stop playing it. i couldn't go to a certain world so i quit.
