freshman year wasnt so bad last year, BUT, if you are in any classes that are mostly occupied with juniors/seniors, you cant take their crap... I was the young smart kid in class for 3 of my classes last year and I did alot of peoples homework for a while, but you just gotta tell em to "F" off and they will leave you alone... anyone else have that happen to them?

Crazy people who try to take advantage of you, I wished I would have stood up to them sooner...

Ahh, freshman year... I remember last year... It sucked... I transferred out of district so i knew no one. I thought I was gonna fail english but my teacher was just screwing with my head... He wrote down bogus grades on my progress reports to get on my nerves. Truth is, he's damn cool... He can mess with anyone's head, I guess that's how psychiatrists are. lol...

I went through it and i didn't let anyone push me around. If anyone wanted to start trouble i would bring it right back at them. Unless of course they were one of those 6'8" seniors on the football team.

Besides that, you just have to let them know that you don't appreciate being targeted, and if they're rude to you, be the same way back to them.

im a freshmen.. but my bro is a senior and he is big and scary... so nobody messes with me.

I'm a junior this year, and I've never seen anything done violently to freshman..they do it to themselves.

*edit*I lied. I just remebered something. The Juniors when *I* was a freshman threw those little milk cartons..at my little group. I was nailed in the stomach with one, and my friend Chris got hit in the head.


Kid last year climbed in a trash can (barrels) and rolled down our front steps..removing his scalp in the process.

I think everyone really over exaggerates how seniors and juniors treat freshmans. High school has never really been bad over here. Right now, I'm a sophomore, and I don't really see anyone targeting other kids because they are new to the school or younger. If anyone is pushing you around though, take freek133's advice and tell them to "F" off. Don't let yourself be intimidated, they aren't really that much older than you. Plus, the seniors will be out of the school next year anyway.

high school isn't bad at all. I get some respect tho cuz I'm a freshman and start both ways (offense and defense) on the football team. Also I'm about 6'0, 175, and got on "the wall" in the weight room for benching more than 150 in 7th grade lol.
