I HAD a stang(98' GT convertible with a triple serving of trimmimgs)... I was never partial to the stock rims on the V-6's, The rims I had were 17" ponies(availible in other rim sizes I believe), check them out, very nice I liked them cause they were not aftermarket rims so they did'nt take any of the mustang pride away from the car.

*edit* they've changed the rim a bit, here's a pic of the one I found(I liked mine better but this is very similar). I guess it depends on what you can even find.

I actually like my rims though..... LOL They are clean and not overdone IMHO. But as you can tell, I am VERY open to suggestions. I will take a look at the rims you suggest. I will of course Photoshop them on before making any decisions.... got to love it!

Nice Pics Shartley, if you are wanting some nice stock looking wheels, check out the 1993 Cobra wheels. They were a sixteen inch swept back "fan blade" rim. Very nice indeed and they won't detract from the stock look you have going on currently.

Acutally you can get the rims in any finish. I had mine painted white to match the car, VERY nice looking but hard to keep clean(definitly worth it though)...

Man I'm drooling at all these cars, Mustangs, Camaro's, and Shelby's oh my. My friends neighbor had a 1970 Nova I think with a 454 on methanol (if i rememember correctly) tubbed with big ol' Mickey Thompson slicks on the back. These tires were so big when I was 8-9 I could get in them and roll around the street.

Old cars are awesome, and going to shows is doubly awesome. The local old car club here meets every Saturday at a Burger King up the street to show cars. They have 40+ every weekend, cars from 1960's Mustangs and Camaro's to '32 Ford Coupes and '49 Mercury Coupes. A lot of nice rides are there.

Excellent pics Shartley! Looks like there were many quality Mustangs there. I spent a good 30 minutes looking at all the pics.

I am sure you would have had a blast there.
