Ya you all know what chic that wears the ties. Well any of your schools trying to catch on the the "trend" We have 2 girls in my grade that just started to wear ties like her. What are they thinking? IS it just my school or anyone else noticing this horrible trend

Well I say let them wear it and express themselves that way if they want. Better they express themselves through their clothes then by other means.

My schools got a strict dress code, so I dont see many girls with ties.

Have you ever though they are wearing ties just because they want to? I mean 6 years ago when I was in high school..just to impress a girl or something..I'd dress nice. Got a lot of compliments..and it can help with your self esteem. (Not mine but hey..) I agree with tigerman..better expressed with non violent attire than some other means of lashing out. Let em wear ties... maybe when they get out in the world.. they'll realize..ties mean business

i don't think anyone in our school tries to be Avril Lavigne. I meen you see people wearing ties but they make you if your about to play an away game or something.

Glad to see someone agrees. But I'm not sure if you understand this Frausty (or if you do then sorry), but Avril Lavigne doesn't where her tie like normal, so it wouldn't really apply to the business world. She wears it just around her neck, with any old shirt.

Hmmm, fruasty.... girls that get impressed by ties eh? Those girls are different than the ones here, these girls are impressed by pants around you knees, shoes stuffed with socks, and clothes 5 sizes to big... and lotsa gold and crooked worn hats...

Well, I know several people that have been doing it for as long as I can remember...before Avril. Did you ever stop to think that she did not invent the whole "wearing a tie thing"?
