Dunno about his story shartly, but I can think of at least one professor here at Tech who was the devil incarnate. He knew his stuff, and was good with the reasearch, but he couldn't teach. Period. It was bad. I'm still debating if he's the antichrist or not.

We have a Classics teacher here at the Univeristy that is well terrible at teaching. Not only is he terrible at teaching he also will fail anyone he doesn't like (and yes he will fail you, even if you earn a A he will make it seem that you didn't) We get there for the first class and he said, "There will be no gum, hats, taperecorders, drinks, food, etc..... in my class or I will kick you out." But no one can do anything about it for he has two doctorate degrees, one from Oxford, and the other from Cambridge, and he is the head of the Classics department, and is tenured like 10 times over.

I agree sam, they just slacked and now are tring to blame the teacher for thier troubles. If he really fails you even if you got everything 100% right then report it to your dean. And he will get in big trouble, otherwise i dont belive you

Not really true. Should be true, but lots of schools protect thier tenured professors more than they care about their students.

Short of killing a student, it's next to impossible to remove a tenured professor. Believe me, I've tried!

Slacked, hum, I don't think so. I am not lying. But if you don't believe the story, good for you. But in the end I am the one in the class, I am the one who has seen it happen to a student in another class.

LOL i had a teacher fail me on a test just because... when he gave me the test back i pointed out his "Mistakes" and watch him write my real grade in the book... we never got along... but anyway i hate my english teacher... she made me stay after school for 10 minuets cause i was late to class when i was coming from the other side of the school through a halway that rivals NY city streets in traffic jams, she closed the door in my face like 2 seconds after the bell rang and i was in like a all out sprint... but eh, she let us go after 5 minuets after school cause "It was our First offense" even though i think she just had somewhere better to be.
