ok im gona play indoor lacross this winter. right now im borrowing a short stick from my friend that kinda sucks, so i need a head, stick, and pads. Im gona be a short stick middy so if anyone knows anything about this, can you tell me what to buy, what not to but, ect. thanx in advance.

sorry but lacrosse sucks, play hockey in the inter and baseball in the spring instead

yep that's funny.....lacrosse is a spring sport....so in the winter it's like an indoor play for fun thing...
and lacrosse beats any other spring sport out there
lacrosse is what MEN play while the BOYS are out playin baseball

(btw dio.....i see ur from stratford...if you play baseball and u go up against west haven this year....have fun losin)

haha lol! I was just shooting at a board in my back yard and i got a big blister on my hand, so i poped it and now theres no skin there and its really gross. just wanted to share.

yep....alot of them play both hockey AND baseball....
blewitt was friggen WASTED last night at the football game...he was like holding onto the rails the whole time

none of them like me to much though....like a different group in school...ya know how it is

OK Please spell the name correctly. ITs Lacrosse.

For a good beginners stick, dont go out and buy a High end head, it isnt going to help you. If your a beginner, i highly reccomend something like the Warrior Patriot, or a low end brine. Stx Is great too.

FOr a beginner, an off set head isnt goint to help you. LEarn with a straight head first.

MEsh or leather. I play with hard mesh. Again, for a beginner, i would reccomend soft mesh. it is easier to break in.

Pocket depth. Dont qorry about a huge pocket, what will probabally happen is you will want a huge pocket, and in tryign to do so, you will create alot of whip. this will make you throw straight to the ground and look like a fool

Sticks. PErsonally my 2 game sticks are My white Warrior Revolution with a silver c405, and my back up is my Warrior Razor with a titan classic titanium shaft.

If you were to want to upgrade what ever head you get, i reccomened a c405 shaft, there nice, strong and very light, plus there easy to drill so you can transfer the shaft to a new head.


Equipment. Brine, STX, and WARRIOR all make great beginner equipment. I recomend them all.

Helmets. Your going to what a cascade arent you? you know the cool lookin ones, well thee nice and all, but you dont need one. the old bucket helmet will suit your needs. Allthough i Use a C2.

Also, qith othersports, I play ice hockey, but paintball and lacrosse are my passions. I dont see why it isnt mor popular, it is fast paced, high scoring, lkots of hitting, and people can get pretty drunk at the games. Isnt this waht americans like? heck there are even small explosions at some games when they score a goal!!!

I used to play long stick D. I tried middy but I couldnt handle all the running. Right after I graduated I gave away my MX, MD and my Golden Highwall. I miss throwing the ol' ball around. I kinda sucked but I loved it to death. My highschool was #1 in the state back in the day, then when my class took over, we almost got bumped down a division we sucked so much.

To bad Lax is an east-coast thing and not spread over the country more. I think Lax is more fun then soccer. And takes more skill to learn....and baseball is boring!

I think the fact lacrosse takes so much work to start playing is the reason its not bigger.

I was always a fan of leather pockets myself. My favorite stick is still an OLD old old brine with a leather pocket. There are huge knots in the pocket from repairing torn leather I don't know why, but I just love that stick.

As for the hemlets, Cascades just don't fit my massive head. I have a huge head, and even the big bucket helmets were tight on me. Just a gripe

I played longstick D too, I woulda played mid but I was too lazy. My stick skills on a short stick were good enough, I was just too lazy to do all that running. Besides, at 6'2", 225 lbs (my playing weight), I was able to destroy people on defense. I got the nickname "Brick &$^#house" after a guy on my team ran into ME during practice and bounced off onto the ground. "What the hell, it felt like I ran into a brick..."

You get the idea.

Maybe this is true or not, I dont play. But I have friends who got cut from baseball last year at school and went and tried out for lacrosse and made it over kids who had been playing most of their lives. So how is it that hard, I've thrown a ball around, I'm not great but I think with some practice I could pick it up pretty easy.
