ok..if superman is so unbeatable and can be killed then why did his parents care so much if he made it off their planet when it blew up...maybe because they didnt want him to die..but n wait that cant be it...he's invincible..blah...superman would be down and out agaist a super saiyan...

ok superman is in earth, he is powered by the earths yellow sun, he never knew his real planet, as far as i know, he was a regular joe in his planet, but on earth, he is superman. . .and no before you start, if you cover the earths sun, he wont be helpless, u have seen him fight at night . . right. . anyway, maybe he can be beat, but noones found a way yet. . hes still around aint he. . .

Maybe the DBZ ppl have a logic that is from another galaxy, but I think we should use Earth logic on this matter; no Superman would not lose to a Super Saiyan or a guy named after a musical instrument, or Barney the magical duck. This is not a "Who is the best super hero" thread. It's which one would you be. Many of us feel that being an American icon that is just plain good is the best choice. If you think a 4th grader with a bad temper and inflamed hemorrhoids is the best choice, hey, great. Have fun.
Its like fighting a Vampire. There are only a few ways of killing it. If you dont do one of those things to it, then it wont die. Simple as pie. And above all this, just remember, Superman wouldnt kill the toddler or his little playmates, because he swore to himself that he would protect ppl at all cost.

Granted Hal Jordon was a good GL, but come on, dont you follow the comics, what happened to him??
come on now, i dont like most of th GL's after him, but you got to give credit to this green lantern. . hes just simply all hal gordon was, with out the whole crazy thing at the end. hal gordon was a good GL, but so is Kyle Rayner. . .
