anyone here ever had bb gun wars we used to untill we discovered paintball it much more unsafe than paintball i would wear saftey glasses but still

but it is fun ,..very fun
and there was always sum 1 that would have one u put pumps in and they we would be only 2 pumps ok and he shoots you and it goes throu 2layers of chothes and ur skin
i also had to dig a bb outta my friends back

if you play it with red ryders and FULL paintball masks and a good thick layher of clothes its safe.... now when you get pump guns with 5 + pumps youer in trouble in close ranges i wanna get a bunxh of red ryders for the winter and play a bunch lol

How do you play BB gun wars anyways? I've never played. Is it like paintball, where if you are hit you are out?

yea pretty much but its set on honor cause you cant tell if you hit somebody always.... sometimes you can hear it

It's like Airsoft without any of the saftey. Basicly a games kids play before they learn that BB guns aren't toys.

I played back when I was young.....and STUPID.

Stopped playing when a kid had to dig one out of his upper cheek. It embedded about 1" below his eye.

My cousin was trying to fix a CO2 pistol with one of his friends. At one point the friend grabs his hand and points the pistol at his palm and starts pulling the trigger and asks "Do you feel any air -- BAP!" Had to use a screw driver to get that one out.

BB gun fights = stupid, irresponsible, immature, etc.

Considering that .177 cal BBs from a Red-Ryder-200-shot-repeater-range-model-air-rifle-with-the-compas-in-the-handle-and-the-thing-that-tells-time are small enough to go through the vent holes on some masks, I wouldn't call it "completely safe".

Yes the bows go much slower than BBs.. but less damage? That one's very open. I know the child-size bows I use to shoot were pretty damn powerful. Probably strong enough to plant an arrow into flesh probably at least an inch in there at 10 yards.

Then again, you might be talking the baby bow and arrows, which are like the size of a crossbow.. I always got the high powered toys. 1000fps pellet rifle anyone?

i think im retarted after they had to dig one of those bbs out of the top of me skull. sure didnt help me ill tell you that.

my dad used to do those, but back then the guns were so weak you couldnt break skin if you wanted.

LOL Yes, I agree..... they can do a lot of damage. My bad. But it would also bepend on the tip used...... and I was thinking of the dull blunt ones used for foam targets... not hunting tips. But momentum would cause some problems too... where the mass of a BB is so small that even though it is going faster, it will not go IN as far.... yup.... you are right....
