Thanks for the clarification, Aaron.
Just for the record, the stuff that sells under the label "Pure Cap" is around 500,000 scoville units.
This stuff, on the other hand, well, take a look. The stuff I had was a lesser Da' Bomb that came in at 118,000 scoville units. As I said before, 8 drops of that made my throat want to swell shut.
Da' Bomb Final Answer - The hottest of all of the Da' Bomb line. Rated at 1,500,000 Scoville Units. Not for direct consumption, use as a food additive only. This sauce ranks at #A2 on our top 20. Warning: Do NOT eat straight out of the jar!
Ingredients include: Habanero peppers, pepper extract, apricot nectar, mustard flour, garlic, allspice and spices. Fat free.
Manufactured in Kansas City, Kansas.

I enjoy hot suaces, but when you start talking about burning your throat and signing waivers, that is just silly. Sometimes it seems people eat that stuff for the sheer bravado of it. Like it is some sort of testosterone gague - who can eat the most Three Mile Island sauce.
Anything added to meats should enhance the flavor not overpower it. If it does you may as well chew wet cardboard with some chinese mustard on it.

I've been to the place Seregnity_31 was talking about, it's called Pluckers and it's in Austin, TX. A friend of mine ate the hottest wings one time, they are called 'Fire in the Hole'. They are not kidding when they say 'Fire in the Hole' cause he said it felt like fire coming out of HIS hole when he was on the can. It was so funny. He was only able to eat about 8 of them before he decided it's not worth it to eat.
Here is a reference site about the Scoville Scale that measures the "hotness" of peppers.

We have a place here in Saint Louis called Sybergs ... which blows Hooters out of the water for good wings. We have challenged the chef to make them as hot as he could *L* ...
Poor waitress couldnt hold them on the tray on her shoulder since the smell was burning her nose *LOL* ... anyhow you could see the red pepper and all the other spices he used with them ... he even used powdered wassabi (sp?) in the sauce ... oh man those were good.

There's a place near Santa Clara University call Cluck U. The have a contest where you need to eat 10 or 12 wings in 15 min w/o drinking or wiping face or fingers. I know serveral who have tried but only one who's completed the challege. They make you sign a waiver.
The wings are coated with the most nasty and hottest sause I've ever sampled...Comment

Hmm I wonder about that one ... allot of pepper sprays sold contain chemicals that are not supposed to be ingested ... many of them also include black light reactive chemicals also so that you can see if a person has been sprayed or not even if they "wash" off the pepper effects ...

I also heard on TV that there is this one place that marinades and bastes their wings in pepper spray. Talk about insane.
