Imagine that! I Chevy guy reading into a thread clearly marked "Mustang Question". Have you checked on the price of insurance lately. I bet that the premium for a Vette is about double that of a Mustang. Give your carrier a call and you might be changing your mind on that Vette, unless its a CheVette!

hey shartley! yours was the exact mustang i was talking about! thats one helluva car, may i ask what year it is? i think i remember hearing that mustangs with horizontal taillights came out after production stopped on the LX style mustangs in 93.... so is yours like a 94/95? thats the 'stang i want to buy in the future....next (in around 2 years when i move away) i'm looking to try a camaro (lperhaps an IROC).... but down the road i'd love to have your mustang, and HEAT's mustang, that 65 of his (i think thats the year) is just beautiful.... i had it on my desktop for awhile!!!! and i forgot, i think sprayingmango or someone else on this board has a new camaro SS, thats a beautiful car too!!! so many nice cars on AO...must get....drool off...keyboard!!

I was under the impression that shelby gt's didnt come out till the middle of 68....or was that just the GTO's?
