Just when I've thought I've seen the lowest thing ever....

In Phoenix, some DJ named Bo Duran called Daryl Kile's widow to ask her if she had a date for the Cardinals/Diamondbacks game this past week.

Naturally she hung up on him. Tony LaRussa said today that he and the rest of the team want to kick his butt. Yet the station he is on only said that it was in bad taste and no action will be taken against Bo Duran.

I wish I lived closer. Bo needs to know a butt whippin!!!!

That guy should be castrated, with a rusty old wooden spoon, and then get made fun of because of it... And even that wouldn't make up for what he did. If I were the Cardinals, I'd be so abosutely livid that he wouldn't have to worry about ever pulling a stunt like that again.

Daryl Kile

Daryl Kile was one of the starting pitchers for the St. Louis Cardinals. He was found dead in his hotel room before a road game a few months ago. He died of a heart attack, natural causes. He was a team leader and according to most an all around good guy. In this era of the professional Bad Boy in sports, he was a gentleman.

Even if he wasn't no one's widow deserves a stunt like that so soon after his tragic death.
