No video, but audio on some movies...

    No video, but audio on some movies...

    On some movies or clips i download and try to play on my computer, it will only play the sound, even the the file is humoungus. I'm trying to play an .avi right now and have tried quicktime, wmp, and realplayer but none of them work. 2 say that they need a codec or software from the main website but could not find it.

    This happens to a lot, but not all of the clips i try to play.

    Any ideas?

      You need the codec- I had similar problems, and my friend d/l a codec for me. It fixed teh problem. Sorry, but I don't remember what the codec was called.

              go to www.super5.com and download the nemo pack. it rocks, you can play anything from streaming dowloads to japanese anime imports,
