yup its been offical for a week now....
i finally got the title for the bike i bought and it is on the road...... and it was worth the wait.....
here is what i got.....
1982 Kawasaki 440LTD belt drive
with windshield, crash bars, sissy bar and lauggage rack....
with when i got it 83.7 orignal miles
and i got this for only $500....
the only thing i see needing to be done during my upcoming dayz off other then running it down to get an inspection sticker..... is to track down and oil filter and filter bolt and get the 20y/o oil out of it... and to get a carb rebuild kit and clean them or bring it to someone to do it.... i'm not that good with carbs... ok i've never worked on carbs before but if i could find an owners manuel and repair book i would try it over the winter.... but i think for me that would be like workin on a cocker with not knowing what i was doing.... so i think i will leave the carbs to the pros... just hoping it dont cost me and arm and a leg to do so.....
well that is it for now i guess.... i'll probly throw more info in here as it comes.... well i guess that is enough rambling for now....
