Those are some pretty good stories. When i was about 13 or 14 me and 2 other friends decided that it would be cool to make a torch. Well we used a big stick and rag wrapped around the end and lighter fluid. Everything was fine until the rag burned enough to fall off the end of the stick and landed in my friend's lawn. Well we stomped it out but when we picked up the rag there was huge burnt hole in the lawn, probably about 2 feet aross which there was no way to hide from his parents. To top it off my friend decided to hide the rag in a pile of dried leaves(nobody ever accused him of being the smartest person in the world) and it happened to not be out all the way and lit the leaves on fire. It was crazy. Luckily there was hose near by so it didn't cause too much damage.

i know and i thank you for your effort. speaking of large sigs RetroEclipse might want to drop his down. you can drop the size w/o shrinkin it but i dont know how, try askeing like shartley or jack&coke if hes still here.

I love to play with my zippo, keep in mind i dont smoke. I do all sorts of tricks with it, and all sorts of fun stuff involving farts, lighter fluid, rubbing alchehol, and aresol cans.

I know this is all dangerous, but i know in the end, if i mess up, i will pay, that is why i am extremely careful with this stuff.

THe newest installment went like this. i made a little metal ramp, and poured lighter fluid down it. i put in a piece of paper at the end, and then a sind which had a small amount of rubbing alchehol in it. Well, i wad another piece of paper up at the top, and put a soaked chineese stress ball at the top. Now taking an aresol can, i light the ball on fire from a distance, and watched it burn through the little wad of paper, then i watched it roll and light the ramp on fire (really cool, and therolling flaming ball is awesome to watch) then at the end, it goes into the sink and lights the alchehol on fire, while doing little jumps in the round sink... it was pretty cool



Now for stupid stuff...... I have cleaned my swiss army knife with lighter fluid, thinking, it is strong stuff, well, i realize that most ofhte dirt in there is just lint, so i set it a flame, now that was dumb! the blase heated up rweally fast and burned my self.



Also, i have set shower curtains on fire, and my brother here just recently burned a hole in his carpet after failing a zippo trick.......




also, i love to do a trick called the flesh torch, its where you light your zippo, and have a little fluid on your hand for effect. then you light your finger, and light the persons ciggarette! its a fun and impressive trick!

i used to do something like that back in the day when i was like 5 with my big bro, except it wasnt with a zippo or lighter fluid, it was more like cologne and a regular lighter.... first we would cover whatever body part we would like to light on fire with cologne, then lit the lighter..... ahh good times good times.

i always do the sock one while hangin wit friends to(wait a second i have no friends.. i guess i do it by myself in my basement). first, take off your shoe, and hold your foot up in the air(sock still on) and light the bottom of your heel on fire, the flame spreads all of the way up your sock to the tip of the toes... this happens very quickly, so its not like u burn your foot or anything, it does leave a nice warm feeling all over your toes though.

you ever try to light a fart on fire, but not fart "hard" enough... well i have. the flame goes up your arse, and it burns really bad.. goin #2 hurt real bad for like a week.. ahh bad times bad times.

I Love Fire. No really i do. Fire is great. I like watching it Burn. It is Fun.


My favorite thing, which is so simple yet so fun, is just mix a crapload of styrofoam with gasonline and light, just watching it burn forever is great.

Soaking my finger in rubbing alchohol and lighting is fun too.

Fire is pretty.

not really fire, but any1 else hear love explosions, such as a reallly big cholorine bomb.. its when you mix crushed up chlorine tablets(for pools.. ya u know) and rubbing alcohol in a 2 liter or whatever sized plastic coke(or whatever brand u prefer) bottle , shake, quickly, then throw it and wait.

no but i make all kinds of fire works with powder from salutes when i can, i can make rockets, cracklers, and fountains... iv done all the lighting you arm on fire w/ rubin alcahol and those tricks.

one time my brother was playing paintball at my friends house(i wasn't able to go) and while they were there my friends older brother thought it would be cool to have a smoke effect while they were playing. he lit a smoke bomb and set it on a piece of plastic. it burned through the plastic and lit the dry grass on fire. they threw the bunkers(pallets) on it to try and smother it but it caught the bunkers on fire. it burned about 2 acres and 5 fire trucks had to come to put it out.

okay, i had to bring this back, it was old, and funny, i want to hear some more dumb(<-- correct spelling ) fire things, or generally stupid things.

I about burnt down the forest at Grand Canyon. I forgot to turn off the propane tank of my stove... and propane pooled inside.

I figured... I'll just burn it off... it's just a little bit. So, I throw a match in there... and it does great for two minutes... slowly burning away. A park ranger drives up and asks if we had set any fires because there was a forest fire danger with the dry season. I said nope, and 3 seconds later, my propane stove bursts into big flames... 15 feet away from me. Both of us freaked out... the ranger called the fire dept. The wooden table it was on also caught on fire. It eventually died... luckily the nearby trees didn't catch fire.

Don't light pools of propane in the forest.

ya what is really fun to do with matches is get ALOT of them, cut off only the heads on them. Then next you VERY CAREFULLY cut a hole in a tennis ball and fill it up with match heads. Then tape the hole closed. Now is the dangerous thing. Hardly move the ball because fast movement will cause friction and it will blow up. Now find something that wont burn down and throw away your new tennis ball bomb.

Note -you dont have to throw it hard



O and once i blew up my garage because we ran a piece of string drenched in lighter fluid back to the orginal full can of lighter fluid, and through the hole in the top from about 30 feet away. I had no idea that it would blow up that big.
