i looooooooooooooove anime, in fact my handle in a lot of places is MajorOtaku. i just wish cartoon network would show some different more mature things, like rumiko takahashi's marmaid's forest. or whatever the movie of mermaid's scar was called. i also wanna see the yu yu hakusho movie, poltergeist report.

I saw Miyazaki's new movie Spirited Away last night but it wasnt that good compared to Monoke and Nausicaa.

Have you guys seen Neon Genesis Evangelion? I think it's the newest one. I'm goin over to a friends house tomorrow to watch it, it's supposed to be pretty good.

Um... NGE new? Check the copywrite and publishing... it says 1996 gainax... um... kinda old imo. Have any of you seen spirited away yet? I heard it was pretty good. (Yeah, made by the same person who made totoro) TOTORO RULES! lol

BTW: The cartoon network stuff is butchered to hell... Go to your local anime place and rent some good stuff... I reccomend X and slayers. Slayers is really long but it's worth it IMO. Don't forget to watch Initial D if you're a car freak.

I love anime. AKIRA is my favorite. They never show anime on TV up here, but there's a video shop a few blocks away that has tons for rent..plus there's the internet!!!

i freaked out when i saw yu yu hakusho on cartoon network, cause the movie "poltergeist report" was one of the first anime movies id seen, saw it bout 4 years ago

I saw it last night. It's ok... But Princess mononoke and nausicaa are way better. Lol My neighbor Totoro rules!! Anything by Miyizaki rules.

... I think I'm going to quit watching anime, simply because I keep having to say "WTF"

If you've seen ALL of Neon Genesis Evangelion, including the movies, I'm %100 SURE that it will provoke the "WTF" reaction.

It's 2:50 AM, and I've just finished watching "Akira". Again, the "WTF" reaction.

Seriously, do directors for anime go dope up on some drug before they write this stuff? It's amazing how FRICKIN' WEIRD this stuff gets!

I am JUST NOW starting to understand what went on in NGE, and that's after hours of searching on the internet for differant people's interpritations. I couldn't make an interpritation myself, because i was sooo ****ing confused.

...I'm not even going to bother getting into what Akira is about. Just WHAT THE HELL happened to that kid?

really the only "Anime" i'm enjoying (well, technically, it's a "manga") is called Naruto, but recently got liscenced, so i'm not able to read the translated/scanned comics.
