Actually here's a few that I have made and I have won first place in costume parties every year.
I guess because I have a demented sense of humor.
Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds...this one was fun, I have them pecking out my eye and my husband had them pecking out his brains.
When I was pregnant with my son...this one was hilarious, I went as opassum road kill and my husband was the sanitation worker. On his back I drew a comic that read you kill'em we cook'em.
Then I made a costume out of foam and we were the girls and boys room sign people, that was quite funny as well.
Just have an imagination! I know you have one foo every artist does
