Why would you? Putting a Paintball Marker Grip on a handgun is almost an insult..... more so when I am pretty sure you can get the same type of grip already being made for and sold for the exact model of handgun (at the same or simlar price range).

Have you even tried to shop online for handgun grips? Most of the better grip companies make both panel, and wrap around grips (and in various materials) for most brands of handguns already.

(edit was to correct typo... oh, and yes, read the following post..... he elaborated on what I was hinting at. )

Ok, hogue makes grips for handguns. Thney are, IMO, the best made. you can MAYBE put some of the .45 style grips...no idea. Besides, it would be hit and miss with the sizing, as most of the better aftermarket handgrips for pistols are ready-made for individual guns.

Hogues are nice but I really like Pachmayr's American Legend series:

ok heres how it is. Houge makes grips for paintball and for handguns. Houge makes the stickies from dye. All they are is made from a cheeper rubber. then, dye subcontracts the stickies to people like smartparts, 32 degrees etc..

I think most realize that. But honestly, why put them on "just" to see how it will look? What would the reasoning be?

That is like asking if anyone has sent out their Hang Guns to be powder coated, and if so, how did they look. It is not saying the person asking said they were going to DO it, but why else would anyone even ask?

It does not take a big leap of deduction.

I think his question was answered very well.

why do more people buy DYE stickies than hogue grips on their paintball guns?

because of the feel, and the name?

maybe he wants the feel, and even the name?

The reason more people use Dye Stickies on Paintball markers is because they are marketed FOR Paintball Markers. When was the last time you saw Hogue Grips at a paintball shop? When was the last time you saw Dye Stickies for Paintball Markers in the Handgun Grips section of your favorite sporting equipment store or gun shop?

You can try to argue it any way you want, but the reason paintball markers tend to use Dye Stickies over Hogue Grips is not because they "feel" better, but because they are marketed and made for different things....

Come on... you are reaching. Please stop. You are looking silly.

The reasoning would be to see how it will look. I didnt ask that so I could find out why the hindenburg crashed, or why the sky is blue. Why else would I have asked that in my original question? Because I wanted to see how much a double wopper with cheese is? nah, prolly had to do with somthing else...

                            It is all marketing.

Yes the dye stickies would fit on a .45 frame. But would you want a bright red or green grip on a nice handgun?

The marketing is all geared towards a specific group.

why do you have to inquire every thought? why cant u just show him a pic of a gun with stickies on it?
