Ok, i think some of the most paintfull things to get injured are your feet, because you need them. like, splinters in that really soft area, or twisted ankles. Well today,i discovered i had an ingrown toe nail, well thats no biggie, i have delt with them befre, as most of us have.

Well climbing the stairs today, i remied that PDQ. I triped, and bent back the toe nail, not snapping it, but ripping it from its foundation underneath. Luckilly i have healthy toenails, dso it is still intact, it did split tho right where it was ingrown, and let me tell you it hurts like a mother. Arent foot injuries the worst?

i have tripped going up the stairs and bent countless toenails back.. it sucks really bad. especially when your going to bed up the stairs and do it, because you dont feel like cleaning it up right then because your about to go to bed. then you wake up and your big toe is covered in dried blood, along with a little portion of you sheets. yep foot injuries do suck.. in the new jackass movie, they take manilla folders and give themselves paper cuts on that little portion of web between your fingers/ toes. its so nasty.

          I hate foot/ankle injuries.

Senior year of high school, I tore about 90% of the ligaments and tendons in my left ankle. Walking on it's fine, but I can't do anything high impact. I'll have to have surgery one of these days when I can actually afford to to have everything fixed.

          Not fun....

(on a side note, two of the girls in my dorm are on crutches, both live on the second floor, and we don't have elavators... I feel so badly for both of them, so I've been helping them out as much as I can. Stupid ankles...)
Don't think of it as being outnumbered, think of it as a wide target selection.

Not only do they hurt bad, they just seem to pop up, and happen very easily...

Actually, any injury where the injured limb is supporting body weight hurts extremely bad. I tore my right MCL, and let me tell you, it was the most painful thing I ever felt. It was even worse than the time I broke my big toe.

my ankle is the loosest thing, i was playing lacrose right? and i was running and did a roll dodge right into a hole, that was the worst pain ever, i thought i broke it. Then a few months later, comming out of the back of our horse trailer, carying a 50 pound bag of wood shavings i steped right into a pot hole. Not good.

THe other thing i hate, it stubbing your toe, those are i bizch

jimmi, my reccomendation to you is to go to one of those emergency room thing clinics, there rather cheep, and they may do it for free, there relatively easy to take care of..

i have had multiple toe infections and they hurt like hell. the best thing i have found is soaking them in that one salt( cant remember name right now) takes the pain out for a while and feels pretty good.

foot injuries are the worst....2 summers ago i had to have surgery for my ingrown toe nails. it was horrible, they had to cut back the sides of my toenails. i could barely walk for about a week.

He shoots, But will he score?!?!?!

I have to disagree on this one. I work/go to school in the radiology department of an inner-city Level 1 Trauma Center, where we see the worst of the worst of the worst, and I have to say that foot injuries are probably the 3rd worst injury to have. 1 is a pelvic injury (i.e broken or dislocated acetabum, or fractured illium). Next would have to be a hip/femur injury/break, just because you can almost guarantee that a broken hip or femur will require surgery. Then in 3rd is the foot/ankle, just because there are so many small bones, and countless nerve endings that can just cause problem after problem if not properly diagnosed.

But that's IMHO, what do I know I'm "only an X-ray tech".
