yea his left hand looks abit crappy. Like i said, it looked much better in pencil . I dont intend to be an artist of any sort, but thats what i always wanted to be when i was younger. My computer graphics teacher said i have alot of potential in art if i stuck with it so it just kinda got me thinking ya know?

also a little comment, think about how you hold a rifle... it seams like he is holding it with his rist, not his hand...

As an artist, may I offer some constructive criticism? Your work with the figure could use a little work. That guy right there doesn't have a lot of tone or definition either, it's hard to tell what exactly is going on there. If you could define some of the edges better, it'd be a much nicer drawing. The lens just looks like some sort of wall; it has no curve or anything.
If you really enjoy drawing, then I suggest you make it a habit, that's really the only way you'll get good. I myself enjoy drawing the figure...but hey, it's not for everyone. Explore various mediums and subjects, then find what's best for you. Find something you like and stick with it!

Honestly i dont see whats wrong with the figure except for his left hand. What do you meen by tone or definition? He's not really doing anything, hes standing there doing his hero pose. How would i go about making the lense look curved? All i can think of is changing the shade. Would putting a curved glare do the trick? Also what do you meen by mediums and subjects? Like i said, i dont really intend to be an artist at all, but my comp gfx teacher just kinda got me thinking.

                      Thanx alot for your reply.

Hey, nice picture. The upper body looks great, I don't see any major problems there. The real trouble comes on at about "gun level." His left hand looks a little troubled, his arm is just in an awkward position. His hips are probally a little too thin, and so are his legs, also there is kind of a lack of detail past the gun. If you just hammer out some of the lower body errors, I don't see anything wrong, great picture!

I agree with just about all that Darklord said...but it is kind of in a cartoony style, so I don't expect some of the details he does...also, Darklord, I don't see any flaming in his post...seemed like a calm-headed reply to me.

For the record, Halo wasn't that great.
