AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Just imagine yourself as a deer...your inocently drinking some water, mabe forraging for food for your offspring, sunny day, butterflies, then BLAM! Oughtta no where, MASSIVE crater winds up going through your brain and you fall down lifelessly as your killer wanders up and stripd you of your legs and internals!
I'll be carrying my usual artillery, my Austin and Halleck 320ml Muzzle loader. .50 cal with .45 cal Hornady's over 100 grains of Pyrodex pellets.Topped off with a simmons .44 mag scope, the thing shoots less than 1/2 inch groups of a bench at 100 yards every time it goes BOOM. I won't carry another shotgun in the field for deer ever again.
Well, I already got a yearling in T-Zone, but I have another 2 weeks to wait for da tirdy point buck. The deer will fall with my Mauser model 98 topped with a tasco 3x9 shooting 150 grain core-lokt.

Rifleman is obviously an NRA member, but I'm curious, are any of you other hunters NRA members? I myself have been (I don't hunt, however, just high power target shoot). IF half the hunters in the US were members, oh what a beautiful thing that would be.
