Yeah Vernon aint the greatest but my aunt lives a stones throw away so i crash there when I go up. Plus I always wind up in there little bar they have at the base. Make a few runs go in for a shot make a few more runs have another and so it goes.

Man, I can't wait for the season to start in Washington. Hopefully it'll start to snow. I think a trip to Whistler and Hood are in store for sure this year since I don't think there's gonna be much of a season this year.Good Traders:JoeyJoe367, Blazestorm213, RetardedRiceBowl, rsadich,PaInTbALL zAcH, jwyke. this is what i got:
M3 board
Technine bindings
burton boots
if your investig alot of cash... your best bet is the burton T6 board, DC stratus boots, Technine pro model bindings, and 686 and billabong outerwear.

He does have a point. Snowmobiling is pretty cool. Nothing like doing 90mph across an untracked snow field.Good Traders:JoeyJoe367, Blazestorm213, RetardedRiceBowl, rsadich,PaInTbALL zAcH, jwyke. John Dresser, Xas, Darrikws, whydoineedausername

WOOOHOOOOO!
Hitting the mountain on Friday!
MikeProwse - Well I agree on the Technine bindings. But I'm not a big fan of burton. I've had bad experiances with em and I'm not gonna give them any money if I can avoid it at all. As for outerwear. I really don't care, I'm picky about gloves and my coat, but that's about it. Half the time I end up going in jeans and flannel!Comment

YES!!!
Ski season is rapidly approaching!
here in MI we have limited choices... a few trash piles in the Detroit area, and a few molehills in the northern lower peninsula... the U-pers have a couple nice places, but its closer for me to drive to Blue Mountain in Ontario...
I have skiied all over British Columbia and Alberta: Banff, Lake Louise, Sunshine Village, Norquay, Nakiska, Castle, Fernie, Kimberly, Kicking Horse, Panorama, Apex, Big White, Silver Star, Sun Peaks, Whistler/Blackcomb... I think thats it...
Out east I have only skiied at Gore Mt. in upstate NY, which I was suprised to find had over 2k in vertical! not too shabby!
This year I'm skiing in the American Rockies for the first time, specifically in Breckenridge CO! I'll be there Martin Luther King Weekend, some friends and I are renting a BIG slopeside pad... we still have spots open if anyone is interested, need about a 400$ deposit, and you need to get yourself to Denver...
plus food... beverages... and lift tickets...
Skiing Rules!
Oh, and I ride a pair of Rossi Bandits, 195cm (yeah, I know they're WAY to long for me, but I like speed...) with Marker Bindings. I borrow my dad's 195 K2 X-15s sometimes too, but they're a bit harder to ski IMO.

getting ready to go up for the 4th annual "let's go to blackcomb and board till we hurt, hottub till we're boiled, drink till we're pickled, snowboardathon" I just gotta get the palmer carbon down to get it's beginning of the year tune.
As to boards, me being a fatboy, I gotta say. Get a palmer carbon or an Option signature. They are super stiff and won't chatter out ever.minimag #1321
