trying to sell me an Emag that does'nt work

Hi, this guy is trying to sell me an Emag that does'nt work, he says the battery is dead and he lost the charger.(for $400)But I thought that its also supposed to opperate on 2 9volts as well? He says that he does'nt know how to do that, and that it should still be under AGD warranty....
Does this sound a little shady to anyone? What if the board is torched, how much do they cost? Thanks, Eric
Remember its still called Paintball, not cheating, the only thing you should whip is your ***.

you can't (effectively) run an emag off of 2 9volts, the drain is too high.

the board is warrantied for 90 days (IIRC), for $400 i would go for it (if the seller seems otherwise reputable), but make sure to use a 3rd party service to verify that the marker isn't completely wrecked

I think I know who you're talking about. The guy that said he won it in a tourney?... I got pics, but I'm still a little skeptical.
I'm way too old for this ****.

Two 9 volts is enough to turn the board on, but not enough to make the solenoid move... at least, that's the case with my EMag.

Might also wanna make sure its not stolen ... not saying it is, but if its a great deal and the "charger was lost" and they would rather sell it for 1/2 cost over get a new charger, you might wanna check it out.

Most likely its fine, just being my normal cautious self...

          Sincerely,
