Four Hours of my life I will never get back...Mud Flap install

Simple bolt on my behind!!!! Deflect-a-shield product supposed to bolt right on huh? Well after much engineering and fabricating maybe. The instructions consisted of on sheet with three steps. However four hours later I finaly had fabricated and located and bent and tried and fitted and bent and...well you get the idea! Finaly installed and real secure. Many a skint knucle. Why is something that seems to simple on the first glance so complicated? Sheeesh!

(still need to pull of that protective film up top but you get the idea)

Wow. 4 hours for mud flaps, you have to love those really vague instructions. But they look good phil, good job on those brackets!

Nice job Phill! I hate these type of installs, no real directions, and don't have the proper parts to do the job in their prescribed time. They say 1 1/2 hrs and you end up doing it in 4... I say pretty good time Lookin good though.

                      i hate that

it took me two full days to weld in floor bords in my truck. after all the pain and all my cuts from the rusted sheetmetal and a few big holes in my pants and in my underware, and a trip to the doctors offic to get stiches and a tetnises(sp)shot. it was all worth it. i think so, well maybe not cause i am selling it.

Don't kill me, but when I first looked at it I thought you were talking about the mirror looking thing at the bottom. I thought "Why did it take him four hours to stick that on" LMBO!! Okay, so I know nothing about cars........

                          Looks good!

Now that you have them installed on your truck, all you need is a mullet, southern accent, ......

Just kidding, looks like you did a great job.
