I see now what digitard was talking about. I read an article on cnn.com's entertainment page about how the FCC wants to "rethink their definitions of indecency" because they were inundated with sooo many complaints. They say their server's email program crashed because so many emails poured in denouncing the show as "indecent". Did I miss something here? What kind of crap is this? I'm sorry, that fashion show didn't show anything more than a bikini contest would. Back in the day, the Miss Universe Pageant used to have small bikinis as well but that wasn't considered indecent. I think it's just because the show had the "lingeire" tag attached to it that made our stuffy, overly-conservative powers that be get their Vicoria's Secert panties in a bunch. Isn't this the same bereau that lets stuff on TV like "NYPD Blue" where they actually DO show brief nudity and have "adult" language? Besides, who cares? Even if they did show outright nudity, which they didn't per se, what's the big deal? Aren't we mature enough to deal with it? Europe is, why don't they think we aren't? And simple nudity is a lot different than "soft core porn" or anything like that. There is a difference. Sorry all...I start hearing someone talk about how we need more censorship and more conservative programming it makes my agent orange act up.
LOL.
censorship = evil
