i bought an Xbox, and I have no regrets whatsoever
everyone complained about the big controls, i didn't have a problem with them, but now I use my Controller S 100% of the time, unless someone with tiny hands comes over....
I am a big fan of Halo, I play a lot of LAN games, 4 on 4, even 6 on 6 a few times.
If you like Action games and SHooters, get Xbox, becuase the best Shooters, like Splinter Cell, Halo 2, Unreal Tournament, etc... will all be out for the Xbox.
I just don't like the little kid games that Nintendo always has. I play shooters because good ones can be really intense, and very relaxing, with the exception of Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, Nintendo has always been lacking in that category.
Not to bash GC, Pikmin is too addictive to be legal, but it's not a real gamer's console. If you're into a lot of hardcore PC games, Xbox will be much more satisfying.
if you don't play PC games, then you won't care that the games don't have the depth of many PC games, so just flip a coin
