    need classic guitar songs!

alright, whenever I sit down to play stuff on my guitar (i'm trying to learn how to play ) I can never remember any good songs, only when i'm not playing do they come to me.

What are your favorite classic songs (rock preferred, but hey, beggars cant be choosers)?

              Hendrix!

Some other good ones are AC/DC, Chicago, Boston, Rolling Stones, and UFO.
Good Traders/Dealers: Ken Kaniff, HawPunch, RougeFactor.

Anything by AC/DC or Black Sabbath. Great stuff.

If you want some good rock riffs to play on the guitar try "Smoke On The Water" by Deep Purple, some Stones like "Brown Sugar","Satisfaction","Street Fighting Man",Etc.
Hendrix may be a bit complex but at least try "Purple Haze".
Oh ,and "Stairway To Heaven" by Zeppelin is a good place to start ,as someone already mentioned.

                      Sweet home alabama!

I wouldn't even think about touching Freebird unless youve got 2 friends who also play guitar, or you're one of the best guitarists on the planet

It helps to have a flute around, but "Suicide is Painless" (the M*A*S*H* theme)
                        Usually around. Usually silent.
