    How to play a movie on PS2

    i have some movies of paintball stuff i downloaded(a couple AVI's and MPEGS) and my friend doesnt have a computer but does have a ps2 so im wondering if its possible to burn them onto a cd a play them(does it read cd-rws and how can i get it into a readable format?)

    Not that I know of ... other than video games it will only recognize DVD disks and play that.

    The only way you'd get his PS2 to play it would be if you have a DVDRAM drive and you can record DVD's ...

      although if he has a regular DVD player, you might be able to make a VCD (video CD) using the mpeg files..

      Nero, EZCD, as well as others have options for creating Video CDs...

      So long as you can create them and his DVD player will play VCD (a majority ofthe new ones will) you should be set.

        well he got the ps2 to play dvd movies and for games so he doesnt have one and he also has an x box but doesnt know how to use it for movies

          The PD2 will play DVD, Music CD's, and a Cd-RW.
          Some older PS2's will not play all DVD's tho
