Jazz Band

Yeah I just got back from jazz band a couple minutes ago. In concert band (Mon. Wens. Fri) I was moved down a seat because of my *imiturity*, but in jazz band (monday night) we had chair seatings and im still in first.

I just got back from a Jazz band gig. It was an outside gig and I was very cold. We sounded like crap because of the cold weather. (a cold instrument will play out of tune)

We play friday night at the Homedepot I don't know how that happened but we are...

Well, I was in my high school's orchestra: first chair violin (concertmistress)

I was also in my university's orchestra for a while, but it was taking up my time since I wasn't a music major

Yeah fine, I play bass in concert band and jazz band, and happen to be the only bass guitarist there who's even halfway decent. I also play in the school's select jazz band called Chameleon, and I'm the bassist/guitarist for that.

i want to learn how to play the trumpet,or trombone..but im already a junior..so i guess thats not gonna happen..

i dont play any instument..and the only thing i CAN do right....is play paintball.

well i assure you, any idiot can play a trombone, some people in my section can barely get out notes that we learned 2 years ago, well i guess that really isnt playing but still. its not hard just gotta remember which notes go on which position

Well, we had our christmas concert yesterday. Terrible.
Oh, yeah now im playing baritone sax in jazz band so now im 1st chair and 1st part

i play drums, im in a band now. Its a funk-rock band, mix between some meters, james brown, the who, hendrix, and pink floyd. We are fighting over the name, we might either be the Archduke Henry or the Flyland band
