How to know if a dog has a cold.

Ok,Well,My good friend has a dog, that has been acting weird the last couple of days.Whenever someone would go to pet her,she would move away, and she would always try to be alone.

    Her dog also won't eat..

Is her dog ok?..is there anyway we can check to see if she is sick?or something? I feel bad for doggy

    anyway,thanx for the help.

I am the kind of person though to squirt water on them and then be like "Well his nose is wet!"

Well first, check her gums. They should be pink in color. Any other color, even darker red, take the dog to the vet immediatly.

Those symptoms could really be anything when dealing with a dog. She really should take the dog to the vet. Those symptoms could be the onset of Lyme Disease, Rabies, Leptospirosis, etc. Also, if the dog HAS vomitted and has diarrhea, then get it to the vet ASAP.

Ok basically, if your friend cares about the dog, she will take the dog TO A VETERANARIAN asap. hope this helps.

Hehe no, I just own many good dog books and I've read them. I'm always trying to learn as much as I can so that I can take care of them better. I hate not being prepared.

The wet nose thing isn't true. Dogs w/ wet noses can be sick and ones with dry noses aren't necessarily sick.

Take the dog to the vet...
