This one they actualy run straight used (or unused) cooking oil right into the engine after only a simple filtration. The engine starts on regular Diesel and then after the engine heats up it switches over to run on all warmed used cooking oil. Will run on that all day long as long as its kept warm. then you switch off right before you cut the engine off to get all the Cooking oil out of the pump and lines so it will not congeal in there.

Now here is a company that makes a system that you can actualy remove the waxy parts from the Cooking oil so you do not have to do the above switch over or keep it heated at all. The stuff you make with this seperation is run all the time. BioDiesel...

Neat stuff huh? I may just invest in one of the later systems. The one that makes almost 40 gallons will fill my 39 gallon tank! I got plenty access to cooking oil from the Dinning halls and always people wanting me to get rid of it. Hmmmm.....
Update! So now I am going to buy one of the Model 40's and set it up here at the University as a test unit! Boss told me to go for it with dept money! To investigate the possibility of installing a larger unit to convert the dining halls on campus oil to fuel for our maintenance and farm fleet of Diesel trucks and tractors. The Boss's went "get one!"
I got a paper to write too on this now.
