Action Village crazyiness

So I ordered a RainMaker from Action Village. After UPS moved it around the nation for a bit, it arrived at my house.

When I got home, after Action Village closed, of course, I open the new package, hoping to find my cheap new rainmaker toy. After all Thordic and Muzikman had already recived theirs and I was going to be able to play in all the reindeer games too.

But when I open the package, something wasn't right. In fact, nothing was right. Inside there was no rainmaker, and none of the little bits that I had ordered along with it. So o-rings and fill nipple covers.

What I found was these things.

One hundred and Forty Six of these Cinch brand, model 50-44S-30 edge connectors.

Neatly stored in little tubes containing five a piece, with one loose.

The only time i got something that i didn't order was Ram for my computer i ordered a half gig of pc2100 ddr and got a half gig of pc2700 i never told em

Now, what possibly could Action Village have these things in their warehose, it's none of the products, and it's not even in the same category as what they sell.

Please post what you think happen, and discuss.

Perhaps is there a company out there that order a bunch of edge connectors, and got a rainmaker instead.

Did Action Village go out of there way to confuse me?

Perhaps Action Village had these shipped to them and didn't know what to do with them, so they decided to dump them on me?

Is Action Village in a buisness where they might even use/see/touch these things?

And last, perhaps these things are worth more than a RainMaker

I'll take care of it on monday when they open. I payed via AMEX, and they'll take care of them, if Action Village doesn't make me happy. I think AMEX actually has goons on retainer. I'm not worried at all, and I'm not even angry. Just realy befuddled about it, and amused too.

This is what puzzles me the most. I could understand a different painball object, even some Warhammer stuff, anything really I could see, if they also sold it. Shipping mistakes happen to everybody.... but this?

I bet UPS mixed up the packages, and you got those and someone(who probably payed like $50 bucks for those things) got your rainmaker. Did you check the return address on the box? I bet it isn't from Action Village. And if it is, they're a bunch of idiots! Hope you get your Rainmaker.

Both the labels on it are from action village, and one even has my order number on it. It's also directly on the cardboard and hasn't been pulled off and put back. It came from them.

I'm not gonna call them idiots for shipping the wrong product. It happens to everybody. Maybe not this often.... but mistakes happen....

It's really really funny from my point of view.

Well man, sorry to hear about your mishap, but with a giant company like Action Village, it's bound to happen! I mean, not only do they have a huge warehouse full of PB items bought in bulk, but also clothing, "Warhammer", skateboard stuff, and video games. It wouldn't surprise me if they had computer/electronics stuff bought in bulk either. Who knows, maybe some angry assembly line worker working in one of their sweat shops decided to "stick it to the man", and had the machines mislabel packages, causing complete chaos. Or maybe some lazy worker spilled his frappuchino on a console. What I want to know is, where did your Rainmaker end up? Some small-business computer company probably ended up with it instead of their 146 Cinch brand, model 50-44S-30 edge connectors.
