I don't see how it's possible to complain about the music, when the latest versions contain mostly European Techno/Trance.

Xerces, that has to be one of the funniest things I have ever seen, mostly because I HATE DDR, but yeah... I had a girlfriend who was obsessed with it, she had all the steps on her computer, and all the tracks in mp3, and she could just bust out a dance, no music or anything. She's not my girlfriend anymore.

I've found the only people that don't like DDR are the people too insecure to play it.

its not insecurity, its this little thing called shame. see, most normal people don't like being spectacles, especially in the way DDR shows them. but i have found that the most insecure people are the ones calling eachother insecure.

It's not that I'm insecure, I love to go dance at clubs, I just find it recockulous to go stomp on four buttons for a buck a pop, when you could go pay ten bucks, freak with the pretty girls, and impress everyone with your c-walkin' skills! The music isn't that bad anymore, I think that because I've been watching too much initial D lately!

techno isn't bad... infact... techno isn't bad at all... yeah... um... j-pop isn't bad either... that's why ddr isn't bad.

Just because you'd rather go to a club dosen't mean that you can't enjoy DDR. For example, why go play paintball for $100 a pop when you could do... other stuff with your girlfriend for free? It's a fun game, that both guys and girls like. I suppose if you (not you personally, but) are older, it's possible you won't like this game. However, all the adults I know who have played the dame love it as well. Anything that gets girls into arcades is fine by me.

Oh, and what's shame have to do with it? You won't try it because you're afraid people will laugh at you. I never see anything wrong with drawing attention to yourself. Everything's more fun when other people are paying attention.

Was I the only one who thought this thread had something to do with the former East Germany...?
