Anyway, I actually know what I am talking about on this thread. Singing to a chick is a surefire way to get points, and it doesn't even matter if you can sing. The fact you are singing to HER makes you sound good even if you are making others cry in pain.

A few suggestions:

Beatles songs. There are too many to pick from, but plenty work great. When I'm 64 is a good one

Righteous Brothers. Bust out some Unchained Melody or You've Lost That Loving Feeling. Ham it up, too. Go ridiculously high on the high notes and laugh about it. They love it.

Stand By Me. I can't even EXPLAIN how great that song works. It's so easy to sing, too.

Brown Eyed Girl works if she has brown eyes.

Dave Matthews is a solid one, too. I havn't used it much since I always fug up the words. Don't be afraid to mess up, though. They won't care.

Sinatra is a great one to go to also. Always keep Frankie in mind

The bottom line is ANY song will work. I mean, don't bust out Pantera or anything. The point is you have to sing to THEM. Don't put on a show, just sing to them.

It doesn't seem to matter HOW badly I sing, and trust me, I sing pretty badly, they always ask for more. Also, trying to "impress" them with your singing isn't the best approach, you just look like a chode. Just sing, don't worry about being perfect, and it should all work out. And remember to bring the jimmy hats

Seriously though, Beatles work, The Who works, Rolling Stones work, DMB works, Creed (suprisngly!) worked for me

and if you're performing and not ugly or anything, DO put on a good show. It gets everyone into it, its fun, and so mix up your rock tunes with some stuff like "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton... worked for me!
