Well, I was reading the Boston herald today, and, guess who was in Iraq protesting America's intervention with the Iraqi regime? Sean Penn. You know, protesting here is ok, but, don't go to an enemy country and bad mouth ours. you dont like it, move. He is a jerk, and I will never watch anything he does again. Not like I did before, but, he is an idiot. He says that America should use diplomacy to solve the problem, and, we are interfering in the growth of their country. HELLO!!!! WE TRIED DIPLOMACY FOR TEN YEARS!!! IT DIDNT WORK!!! What the hell is he thinking? I wanted to pass this on, I was steaming at work when I read this.

I remember asking my Grandfather about Jane Fonda one time. Didn't care for her one bit.

While I think Hanoi Jane should be tarred and feathered, from what I am reading Sean Penn hasn't done anything even close to the rumors I have heard about Jane Fonda. If they are true (such as giving notes given to her by POWs to their captors) she played a very active role against the US, and more specifically, she cause injury and possibly deaths of US service men. Even if the are not true, she appeared to do her best to be an active participant against the US. However, as long as they are only voicing their views, the laws upon which this great country was founded protect them as well, as they should.

True, Sean hasnt done the same things as Jane. BUT, he spoke out AGAINST America in OUR ENEMY'S COUNTRY. Does he actually have to actively recruit people to their side, or sell Americans to their fate, for it to qualify? I dont think so. He is a jerk. Plain and simple. WAY out of touch with reality. And, if you dont see anything wrong with what he did, then maybe you should check your history.
again, speak what you want, you are entitled to your opininon. But, dont go over there and speak out against the US, and think youre doing the "right thing".
