As said before, the ac-130's carry only guns, no bombs.

When they are doing supressive and more constant fire, they have guys who use snowshovels(!) just to shovel all the spent brass shell casings away from the guns.

How do they know those were terrorists? They go from non confirming targets to confirming so quickly how could they check? The gunner can't even see if he's chasing kids or women with what he's looking at either.

This just seems like too much blind faith in the military.

the ac130 wont be called in except for close air support. the way they know that those were targets was because previous to this video they were shooting at marines on the ground. the marines called in the air support and the rest is history.

Wow old thread. My dad was one of the lead designers at Lockheed years ago. He worked alot on this plane. That thing is amazingly accurate. I've got a copy of the video they used for the pitch to the goverment around here somewhere. Sort of a demo tape of what it can do.

is it british or american to me it doesnt look like are cammies or rifle's?

They're Brits. Thats their assault vehicle and also they're uniforms i believe.
