Is this a net send ?

I've been getting pop up messeges lately. I was wondering if this was a "net send ###.###.##...." command? If so shouldn't it tell me what machine it is from so i can hax0r it? How can i track down the machine that's doing this and get rid of my IP from it's bot list?

Yeah it looks like it .. I just sent myself one to be sure, almost identical (only mine wasn't all tweaked out and big cause i just said "look im sending a net send"

Yea its a net send i dont no how you could get the ip to take your self off the bot list btw how did u take the scrrenshot???

CTRL+C and then open PAINT or Photoshop and open a new document and choose PASTE

Hehe. Last year was fun at school. We were all doing netsend and sending messages to each other during computer class and stuff. Hehe...Then I sent one to one kid and he's an idiot and showed the teacher. Then she disabled it somehow.. so no more netsend..

The magic button is the one that says "Print Screen" makes sense huh? .. After you press that go into a paint program and press CTRL-V to paste it...

anyways, how do you do netsends?

You click START and then RUN

Then in the RUN box you type

Net Send xxx.xx.xxx.xxx ... message here

xxx's = the IP address and ... then your message

I tried to do the whole net send thing to one of my friends, but it says that the command SEND is unknown. Did i do something wrong or what

Yeah that is the wonderful new method of spam ... the only way to stop it is to block the windows messaging port ...

Thankfully those running *nix clones dont need to worry about it
