I was in West Virginia over the summer in Logan County(home of the Hatfield and MacCoy fued BTW) and there was this girl in the Bonanza there who nearly made me mess my pants. She didn't have any rings either so I said hi, but then my order came up and I had to go eat it before the flies did.

Oh no, you have pamphlets...*me trembles at their majesty* The Hatfields lived in WV and the McCoys in Kentucky. Most of the fighting and killing took place in Kentucky. The only thing that happened in WV were the murders of the 3 McCoys that were tied to the tree and the arrests of the Hatfields who did it. The trials that led to a Supreme Court battle between Kentucky and West Virginia happened in Kentucky. (Kentucky won the case by the way)

Pamphlets are nice, but encyclopedias are better!

You were in Logan county? Guess what the Logan County of today is not where the WV part of the feud occurred. That part of Logan County was broken out into Mingo County, WV.
