Do you think this is fair or not fair

Well, see like right up from where i live is a HUGE paintball field thing.. but it's in doors and they have the little blowup things that u hide behind..The lights are black lights .. so me and some of my friends (some were guys) that wanted to play so we went up there.. and we were betting to see who all would win.. so we made our bets.. they said i will pay you 20.00 to play with us.. and my friends where like are you kidding.. no way.. and i said i would..just to have fun well so we went up there and like they gave me all the stuff that i needed.. they said try on this helemet and i did and they said it was to big and so yea i tried on alot of other helemets and they didn't fit they were all to big... so then i couldn't play and they were all agrueing that..It fits her almost good so let her play nothing gunna hurt her.. and the person that was taking money and stuff said no.. so i walked back to sit wit my friends and they were like why couldnt u play i was like helemets to big.. so i didn't think it was fair because i mean come on one helemet almost fit me perfectly.. Did they not want me to play beause im a girl?

Insurance companies who give these fields insurance (and just common safety requirements) say that if your going to play your mask has to be secure against your face so that shaking your head, running, etc will not cause the mask to slip .. cause if it did you could get hit and cause some serious injury.

If your mask didn't fit they cant let you play, or the field could lose its insurance carrier and suffer a possible lawsuit.

Yeah it's fair for them to not let you play. Dave's right, if something were to happen to you it would really put the field in a sling, as well as become bad publicity for our sport, and this is all to say nothing for your possible injury. I want the sport to grow, and for us to get new members as much as the next guy (especially more ladies...we need them), but not at the expense of your safety and our sports' reputation. Did you try wearing a hat, or maybe a hat with a bandana underneath? These might help make your head a bit bigger so the mask would fit better. My other suggestion would be to go and purchase your own mask from Wal-Mart or the like. The JT's they have there will fit smaller head shapes so you could probably find something there. ok this might be a dumb question BUT..... they did tell you to tighten the mask by pulling the plastic things on the back of the mask (on the elastic strap) away from eachother?
