    I Need WinAmp Help!!!!!!!

I need some help with winamp, i recently bought a new reciever, Yamaha HTR-5550

ok and i bought the monster cable that lets you plug your reciever into your computer, and when i did plug it in to the computer i get an error message

"Unsupported PCM format (44100 Hz, 16 bits per sample, 2 channels) Please change format settings in input plug-in configuration or change output device in waveOut plug-in configuration"

thats exactly what it says, just need a little help here

    thanks

It cant understand the input from the cable, so the only thing I would know to do is first, find drivers/patches/downloads if there are, and email the company and ask how to get the sound card to reconize the input

Your sound card probably switched to the PCM port. I don't know much about those, except that I'm sure they have to match something the sound card supports. Read the reciever manual for the PCM options. Hopefully someone really knows will step forward. Good luck.
