Pass interference. On a fourth-and-three from the Miami 5. In overtime. After first signaling incomplete pass -- setting off the Miami celebration -- field judge Terry Porter threw the yellow hankie a few heartbeats after the ball fell to the turf. The penalty was on 'Canes freshman corner Glenn Sharpe who was checking OSU's Chris Gamble. "I saw the guy holding the guy prior to the ball being put in the air," Porter said. "He was still holding him, pulling him down while the ball was in the air. I gave the signal for holding. Then I realized it should be pass interference because the ball was in the air."

Announcers are ALWAYS correct, maybe we should make the announcers ref the games.

OK, I just got back from Arizona. Dont talk. AT ALL. What you see on TV doesnt say anything. I was at the game, in person, section 21, row 33, seat 20 . Anways, the refs missed so many calls, its ridiculous. You should have heard how loud the booing was, it was deffining. The messed the most obvious offsides, the most obvious pass interference, tons and tons of holding calls, and what about that gamble first down? The game was over, long time ago. It should have been over in the 3rd quarter, but bad officiating stopped it. Ill have pics up ASAP

it was clear.. the best team didn't win....

what happened is Ohio played the best football they have all year, and both teams should have.. that's what they played for all season... the caines... they didn't play there best.... and yes, the refs hurt them a couple of times...

and as far as the guys on tv... I didn't think they were pulling to the caines... but what do I know....

they need replay in college football for that VERY reason.... you can bump, push, hit, for 5 yards after the snap.... the ohio guy was doing it just as bad... so that call was total bs..... but hey... that's the game... Refs make bad calls, you just have to deal with it...

come on moosey lets not be crazy, there will never be instant replay in college football, and when a losing team resorts to blaming a loss on a ref...well thats just sad, it was a good call, it was either going to be a hold, facemask, or interference call, and he chose interference, trust me man I had a good seat and was looking right at it

well the generator is almost out of gas, so I'll be on some time tomorrow

hey man, the refs were bad on OSUs part also. The game would have been over in the 3rd quarter if hte refs didnt screw up. How many holding penalites did they miss? How bout that obvious pass interference (pass to gamble i belive), what about that obvious gamble first down that led OSU to punt? you should have heard how loud the stadium was. The BOOOOOS were making my chest hurt, all that bass . 60,000 OSU fans verses 12,000 Miami fans

Two bad call doesn't equal one right. You can say that both teams were holding all night, you can say the refs allowed it both ways, allowed the game to be played. You cannot deny that Gamble's shirt was pulled after he ran around Sharpe and never let go until the ball hit the ground. Miami was overrated, overconfident, and under supported. They said Ohio State was underdogs in athletic ability, not enough size, not enough speed, too many mismatches would occur. If so, we had the bigger heart. Enough to cap off an undefeated season.

haha automaggin i was there and i think i was sitting real close to you. Ill have to find my stub but i think it was something like section 19 row 28....im not sure but ill look.

                              any ways...GO BUCKS

I knew the Miami fans would complain about that call but what can you say the best team won. They were lucky to even bring it to double over time. That would of been absolutley sickening if the Bucks would have lost. Did anyone else look on the field near the end of the game and see the miami players dancing on the Bucks logo thing painted on the field. Thats a perfect example of why i hate Miami.
