hot wheels

after spending the better part of the weekend sitting on my living room floor with the little lady, sorting through her giant collection of hot wheels, i'm curious to see how widespread this disease/hobby is.

sadly enough, i've been bored enough at the office that i even let her con me into writing a quick web app to help her keep all of the little buggers in order. so far i've taken photos of well over 200 of them with no end in site

there is nothing quite like having a 21 year old -lady- (i use the term loosely ) squeal with glee and tear off down the aisle every time we goto a toy store/target/any other store with those little blue cardbacked gems. but i love her anyway

I don't collect, but I have a number of cars and military vehicles from the 60s and 70s (all showing some wear and tear) that an Uncle gave to me.

The tracks are where its at, starting it from one end of the 2nd story, down the stairs, across the hall, down the basement, into the gameroom.

Throw a few flips and jumps in there and you're set

Good for her, I actually collect GI Joe's and I am the same way, 28 mind you.

My husband hates to go to the toy store with me. But me and the kids love it just the same.

I collect the 12 inch figures.

My son loves HotWheels, that is his favorite toy to play with.

24 and still play with legos... I actually take them apart and rebulid them, only to set them back the way they were. I'm pissed they didn't have all those cool legos back when I was 14

btw what's happened to kids anyway? When I was 14 I was playing with legos and buliding tree houses in the woods. Nowadays it's x-box and paintball... weird.
