dual 100watt driving lamps... what size wire?

I have two 100watt lamps for my truck and was wondering what guage wire i should run, and what type of strand count is the best for the 12v that will be running to them.

The wire will need to be about 8ft long.

My truck is louder than yours. A lot louder.

What voltage system is it on? And how many amperes do they draw? LMK and I can let you know the wire guage ideal for Aircraft installation, which will work nicely for your truck.

edit...oops, didn't read. Saw the voltage, just need the amperage draw

I'm not sure off the amp draw. I would guess that they're a bit less than 20 amps.

      they're small halogen 100watt bulbs.

thanks for the help so far

Allright...for aircraft installation you would use AWG 14 wire. That should work great for your truck.
